Baking Paper and Art
See Thru Drawing - learning new techniques
Attended an online drawing workshop today ran by Dr Bill Platz and Qagoma. A technique where translucent paper (baking paper, tracing paper or anything similar) and both sides of the paper are used to develop lines, tone and value to present an interesting composition. I particularly liked how shading on the back of the paper, when viewed from the from was more muted, softer a very interesting affect. The technique is also good for revising a picture as if it was done in layers similar to digital work.
This is gorgeous off tracing paper art work remind me off elementary school days it’s lovely 😊
